Jantzen Beach Center is proud to own and operate a historic 1921 CW Parker carousel. This 72-horse hand carved machine has recently a complete restoration and relocation. It is now the centerpiece of our Food Court.

Entered in the National Register of Historic Places, this important piece of Portland’s History has been preserved and is once again delighting yet another generation of riders.

Parties at the carousel The 1920’s C.W. Parker Carousel is available year-round for fun parties!

Rate are $5.00 per guest up to 24 guest and include unlimited rides on the carousel for 1 ½ hours. Larger parties are encouraged to rent the Jantzen Beach Park Room. Parties will be located along the west side of the carousel rotunda against the glass walls. We also provide up to three (3) eight-foot tables and twenty (24) adult-sized chairs. No outside food may be brought in, except for Cake, all other food and beverages must be purchased in the food court. Walk in parties are not Permitted , Food court tables are reserved for food court patrons only. It is important to remember that the public still has access to the Carousel during parties.
